Installing Roof (Full Roof)

IMPORTANT:

Before final assembly, make sure you fully understand all the work steps involved and carry out a trial assembly without applying adhesive.
The bonding process can only be carried out reliably when a smooth and swift sequence of operations is guaranteed.
Do not begin bonding work until all materials and tools necessary for later repair work are available.

IMPORTANT: Have this work carried out by an assistant whilst at the same time starting with the joining work.

IMPORTANT:

Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface.

IMPORTANT: The help of another person is required.

Install roof (full roof) and check that it fits perfectly.
Remove roof (full roof).
Apply structural adhesive on joint areas of the body > Bonding areas. > Application depth 3 mm

Apply 2-component window adhesive as a bead of adhesive on joint areas -A- of the body.

Clean surface of roof in the side panel area.

8.1 Remove most of the excess adhesive using a plastic spatula or cloth.

8.2 Finish cleaning visible surfaces -1- with a cloth soaked in cleaning solution [acetone].
