Installing Fuel Pump

Information 

Run-in noises can occur after installing a new fuel pump. If the fuel pump run-in noises can still be heard after the test drive, continue the test drive for longer or leave the vehicle running at idle speed for approx. 15 minutes. Then check again to see if the pump is making noise.

1. Installation is performed in reverse order.
2. Tighten the flange ring -4-  with a new seal -3-  on the fuel tank using > T10202 - wrench. 

   > Tightening torque 110 Nm (81.1 ftlb.)
