Preliminary Work

Information 

Expose main wire harness only as far as required until the new optical waveguide can be attached to the main wire harness.

1. Remove windscreen projection control unit.

   > 908619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WINDSCREEN PROJECTION CONTROL UNIT

2. Detach floor covering at the left until the main wire harness is accessible.

   > 704119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT FLOOR COVERING

   > 704619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CENTRE FLOOR COVERING

3. Remove front sound absorbers -1-  .

4. Remove left sound absorber -1-  .

5. Lift up carpet at the rear left -1-  until the electric wire harness is accessible.

6. Remove rear sound absorbers -1-  .

7. Remove DVD autochanger.
