Preliminary Work

Information 

Expose main wire harness oily as far as required until the new optical waveguide can be attached to the main wire harness.

1. Remove dashboard.

   > 701819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING DASHBOARD

2. Detach floor covering at the left until the main wire harness is accessible.

   > 704119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT FLOOR COVERING

   > 704619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CENTRE FLOOR COVERING

3. Remove front sound absorbers -1-  .

4. Remove left sound absorber -1-  .

   Information 

   • Do not remove belt fitting. 
5. Remove B-pillar trim panel (lower part) at the left.

   > 70671903 REMOVING AND INSTALLING B-PILLAR TRIM PANEL (LOWER PART)

6. Lift up carpet at the rear left -1-  until the main wire harness is accessible.

7. Remove rear sound absorbers -1-  .

8. Remove DVD autochanger.
