Removing Wire Harness For Trailer Hitch

NOTIFICATION 

Voltage peaks 

• Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit 
  1. → Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 5 m).
  2. → Switch off electrical loads before disconnecting or removing them.

Information 

Replace screws. Do not modify or lubricate micro-self-locking screws.

1. Unscrew fastening screws -2-  .

3. Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1-  from trailer hitch motor.

   Inner wire harness for trailer hitch

   1. 5.1  Screw off fastening nut -2-  for ground line.
   2. 5.2  Clip wire harness for trailer hitch -1-  out of retaining clip -3-  .
   3. 5.3  Release and unplug electric plug connections -4-  .
6. Press grommet -1-  out of the body and guide wire harness for trailer hitch -2-  out of the body.
