Preliminary Work

  1. Loosen battery ground strap.

    > 978509 LOOSENING AND SECURING GROUND STRAP FOR BATTERY 

  2. Remove carpet at the front right.

    > 704119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT FLOOR COVERING

    Information 

    • Do not remove belt fitting. 
  3. Remove lower part of B-pillar trim panel at the right.

    > 70671903 REMOVING AND INSTALLING B-PILLAR TRIM PANEL (LOWER PART)

  4. Remove trim panel for dashboard (passenger's side).

    > 70191902 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TRIM PANEL FOR DASHBOARD (PASSENGER'S SIDE)

  5. Unclip expansion rivet -1-  and remove B-pillar air guide at the right -2-  .
