Preliminary Work

  1. Loosen battery ground strap.

    > 978509 LOOSENING AND SECURING GROUND STRAP FOR BATTERY 

  2. Only for V8 biturbo: 

    Remove pressure hose at the top right.

    > 213919 REMOVING AND INSTALLING PRESSURE HOSE (V8 BITURBO)

  3. Remove cover for front underbody.

    > WM, 519219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR FRONT UNDERBODY

  4. Remove front wheel housing liner at the right.

    > WM, 505619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER

  5. Unclip right wing cover -1-  from the wing.

  6. Remove front apron.

    > 631519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT APRON

  7. Drain coolant.

    > Refer to the appropriate service information.
