Installing Rear Backrest Cover (1/3-Split Folding Rear Seat)

Information 

• Use new cushion rings and engage them in the integrated metal strut of the cover. 
• Fasten cover to the padding, starting at the inside. 

1. Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:

   Insert cushion rings using > V.A.G 1634B - Cushion Clip Pliers. 

   Remove creases on cover for rear backrest (1/3-split folding rear seat) using the following tools:

   > 9747 - Wetting-off iron 

   > 9747/1 - Knurling iron 

   > 9747/2 - Bone burnisher 

   > V.A.G 1416 - Hot-Air Blower
