Removing D-Pillar Trim Panel

Information 

To reduce the forces during removal and thereby the risk of damage, a suitable tool must be used as a support during removal at accessible connection points.

1. Detach seal on rear lid -1-  in the D-pillar trim panel area.

2. Unclip clips -2-  and remove D-pillar trim panel -1-  from the D-pillar.

   NOTIFICATION 

   Voltage peaks 

   • Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit 
     1. → Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 5 m).
     2. → Switch off electrical loads before disconnecting or removing them.
3. Release and disconnect electric plug connections -1-  from loudspeakers -2-  .
