Preliminary Work

Only for 4-zone Climatronic (I-no. 9AQ; 9AE) 

1. Remove air vent for B-pillar trim panel (upper part) -1-  .

   B-pillar air vent

   1. 1.1  Carefully unclip air vent for B-pillar trim panel (upper part) -1-  from B-pillar trim panel (upper part) using a suitable tool at the locking lug -2-  and remove it until the electric plug connection -3-  is accessible.
   2. 1.2  Release and disconnect electric plug connection -3-  and remove air vent for B-pillar trim panel (upper part)
2. Remove inner door sill trim.

   Information 

   Before unscrewing the screw, secure three-point seat belt to prevent it from rolling up.

3. Unscrew screw -1-  and remove three-point seat belt -2-  at the bottom.
