Preliminary Work

Remove front side-section trim panel.
- > 702419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SIDE-SECTION TRIM PANEL
Remove footrest.
- > 703519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FOOTREST
Information

To prevent damage, use a suitable tool as a support during removal at accessible connection points.
Unclip inner door sill trim -1- at the front using a suitable tool -Arrows- until the A-pillar trim panel (lower part) is accessible.

Release lock -1- using a suitable tool -Arrow- and remove front lid release lever -2- .
