Removing Inner (Left) Wheel Housing Rear

  1. Disconnect connection points.
    1. 1.1  Remove punch rivets using > VAS 852 001 - aluminium body dent removal unit  and > VAS 6790 - compact booster  .

      > 5X00IN23 REPLACE PUNCH RIVETS AND PENETRATED JOINTS

      Connection points

    2. 1.2  Remove punch rivets using > VAS 852 001 - aluminium body dent removal unit  and > VAS 6790 - compact booster. 

      > 5X00IN23 REPLACE PUNCH RIVETS AND PENETRATED JOINTS

      Front connection points

    3. 1.3  Remove punch rivets using > VAS 852 001 - aluminium body dent removal unit  and > VAS 6790 - compact booster  .

      Rear connection points

  2. Loosen joints.
    1. 2.1  Unscrew self-tapping screws -1-  .

      Outer self-tapping screws

    2. 2.2  Unscrew self-tapping screws -1-  .

      Self-tapping screws, inner

  3. Heat bonding areas. > V.A.G 1416 - Hot-air blower

  4. Heat bonding areas. > V.A.G 1416 - Hot-air blower

    Bonding areas of wheel housing rear inside

  5. Remove inner wheel housing rear.
