Removing Outer (Left) Wheel Housing Rear

Loosen front joints.

Front joints
1. 1.1 Remove cavity bulkhead -3- to access hidden punch rivets. > V.A.G 1416 - Hot-air blower
2. 1.2 Remove punch rivets using > VAS 852 001 - aluminium body dent removal unit and > VAS 6790 - compact booster .
  > 5X00IN23 REPLACE PUNCH RIVETS AND PENETRATED JOINTS
3. 1.3 Unscrew self-tapping screws -1- .
4. 1.4 Grind off self-tapping screw -2- using a sander.
Loosen rear jointing points.
> 5X00IN23 REPLACE PUNCH RIVETS AND PENETRATED JOINTS

Rear jointing points
1. 2.1 Removing punch rivets -A- using > VAS 852 001 - aluminium body dent removal unit and > VAS 6790 - compact booster .
2. 2.2 Drill out punch rivets -B-.
