Removing Side Member Rear (Section)

  1. Remove side member rear (section).
    1. 1.1  Unscrew self-tapping screws -1-  .

      Self-tapping screws

    2. 1.2  Unscrew self-tapping screws -1-  .

      Self-tapping screws (inner wheel arch)

    3. 1.3  Unscrew self-tapping screws -1-  .

      Remove punch rivets using > VAS 852 001 - body dent removal unit, aluminium  and > VAS 6790 - compact booster  .

      > 5X00IN23 REPLACE PUNCH RIVETS AND PENETRATED JOINTS

  2. Heat bonding areas > Bonding areas (inner)  using > V.A.G 1416 - hot-air blower  .

  5. Remove side member rear (section).
