Installing Lock Carrier

  1. Install lock carrier and check that it fits perfectly.
  2. Damaged side:

    Apply adhesive on the joint area > Areas for adhesive  of the body. > Application depth 0.5 mm

  3. Damaged side:

    Apply adhesive on the lock carrier > Areas for bonding.  > Application depth 0.5 mm

    1. 3.1  Also apply a bead of adhesive all around the bonding surface. > Application depth 3 mm 
  4. Remaining preparation as described in Workshop Service Information .

    > 530955 REPLACING LOCK CARRIER  - section on "Installing"

  5. Damaged side: 

    Set blind rivets.

    Areas -A-  : > BLIND RIVETS 999.190.229.01 

    Areas -A-  > BLIND RIVETS 999.190.227.01

  6. Damaged side:

    Screw in self-tapping screw -1-  .

    > 5X00IN24 SETTING SELF-TAPPING SCREWS

  7. Remaining preparation as described in Workshop Service Information .
