Installing Tear Closing Panel

Information 

• Before final assembly, make sure you fully understand all the work steps involved and carry out a trial assembly without applying adhesive. 
• The bonding process can only be carried out reliably when a smooth and swift sequence of operations is guaranteed. 
• Do not begin bonding work until all materials and tools necessary for late r repair work are available 

1. Install rear closing panel and check that it fits perfectly.
2. Apply adhesive on the joint area > Connection areas of body  of the body.

   Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface > Connection areas of body  . > Application depth 0.5 mm

3. Apply adhesive to the rear closing panel > Rear closing panel  .

   Rear closing panel

   1. 3.1  Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface. > Application depth 0.5 mm 
   2. 3.2  Also apply a bead of adhesive all around the bonding surface. > Application depth 3 mm 
4. Join rear closing panel.

   Joints

   1. 4.1  Set pop rivets in area -A-  . > BLIND RIVETS PAF.009.075 
   2. 4.2  Set flow-form rivets in area -B-  . > FLOW-FORM RIVETS 9A7.008.606.00 

      > 5X00IN23 REPLACING PUNCH RIVETS AND PENETRATED JOINTS

   3. 4.3  Set counter sunk rivets in area -C-  . > COUNTERSUNK RIVETS 999.190.228.01 
5. Screw in self-tapping screws -1-  .

   > 5X00IN24 SETTING SELF-TAPPING SCREWS
