Cuts can be made in defined areas in the outer side member due to the parts dimensions. The purpose of the different cuts is to keep the repair area as small as possible in the event of damage.

The diagram should help you to determine the correct position of cuts.

Possible separation points on outer side member

A-B-C	Replace cuts for outer side member > 514555 REPLACING OUTER SIDE MEMBER
A-D	Replace cuts for centre side member > 51455503 REPLACING OUTER SIDE MEMBER (FRONT SECTION)
