Only make cuts in the top plate. Make sure not to damage the plate underneath when doing this.

Mark cuts A in accordance with the new part. Make sure to leave an overlap of approx. 30 mm with respect to the body.
- Mark and make cut -A-

Mark cuts A in accordance with the new part. Make sure to leave an overlap of approx. 30 mm with respect to the body.
- Mark and make cut -B-
. > Distance 137 mm
Cut B on side member
Information
Mark cuts A in accordance with the new part. Make sue to leave an overlap of approx. 30 mm with respect to the body.
- Mark and make cut -C-

- Disconnect connection points.

Remove punch rivets in area -B-
using > VAS 852 001 - aluminium body dent removal system
and > VAS 6790 - compact booster

Drill out spotwelds in the area -A-

- Bend up edges -1-
in door apertures.

- 5.2 Bend up edges in door apertures using > VAS 6635 - crimping pliers set, 4-piece .
