Installing Glass Roof
Information
If roofs have only just been affixed, the coos must only be closed with the side windows lowered and the tailgate open until the adhesive has hardened.
The tailgate must only be closed when the side windows are lowered.
Always wait 4 hours after bonding the roof before driving the vehicle.
- Prepare adhesive for processing.

Information
Before using the adhesive, apply a bead of adhesive approx. 30 mm long to a piece of cardboard to ensure that the substance is completely mixed.

The adhesive must be used within 10 minutes - from the time you open the adhesive until the roof is finally fitted.
Preparatory work must be done for each step.

as a triangular bead on the roof aperture using > VAS 5237 - double cartridge gun

Information
Two people are required on both sides of the vehicle in order to remove and fit the glass roof on the body.
Removing and installing the glass roof must be done with a total of four people .

Installing glass roof
- 3.1 Hold the glass roof -1- with two people on each side of the vehicle using suction cups and carefully position it on the vehicle.
- 3.2 Guide the pins -2- of the glass roof -1- into the cut-outs -3- on the bodyshell and carefully and slowly lower the glass roof -1- .
- 3.3 Press the glass roof -1- on evenly as far as it will go.
- Wait 4 hours for the adhesive to harden.

- 5.1 Remove adhesive tape from roof wire harness -1- and position the roof wire harness -1- .
- 5.2 Clip in clips on wire harness for roof -2- .
- 5.3 Clip in holder for electric plug connections -3- .
