Preliminary Work

  1. Only for hybrid vehicles: 

    Drain refrigerant.

    > 870317 Draining and filling refrigerant R134a 

    > 870317 Draining and filling R1234yf refrigerant 

  2. Remove cross panel (upper).

    > 508119 REMOVE AND INSTALL CROSS PANEL (UPPER)  - chapter on "Removing"

  3. Only for hybrid vehicles. 

    Drain coolant (for low-temperature cooling system).

    > 193817 Drain and fill coolant (low-temperature cooling system) 

  4. Drain coolant (high-temperature cooling system).

    > 193817 Drain and fill coolant (high-temperature cooling system) 

  5. Remove strut (A-strut).

    > 408619 Removing and fitting the strut (A-strut) - chapter on "Removing"
