Installing Control Unit For External Communication

Information 

If the control unit is replaced externally, the following steps must be carried out before installation:

• Remove battery from external control unit
• Wait 5 seconds
• Install battery for external control unit

If the control unit for external communication was replaced, continue with Step  1.

If the control unit for external communication was not replaced, continue with Step  2.

1. Remove battery for communication control unit, wait 5 seconds and install battery for communication control unit.

2. Installation is performed in reverse order.

   Electric plug connections must engage securely.

   Tighten communication control unit to holder to > Tightening torque 1.7 Nm (1.3 ftlb.)  .

   Tighten control unit holder to body to > Tightening torque 3.5 Nm (2.5 ftlb.)  .
