Removing Front Roof Sun Blind

Information 

• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle. 
• Also complete certain steps on the opposite side of the vehicle as well. 

1. Open the front roof sun blind fully.
2. Unclip front roof sun blind -1-  .

   1. 2.1 Carefully lift up the clip -2-  using a screwdriver.
   2. 2.2 Press roof strut forward.
3. Pull front roof sun blind forward manually > Length 300 mm

   Locking sun blind

   • When the locking pin -2- is removed, the spring becomes loose and the front roof sun blind -1- must be replaced. 
4. Lock front roof sun blind -1-  using > T40011 - locking pin -2-  .

5. Tilt the sun blind in the guide rail and disengage it.
6. Remove guide element.
   1. 6.1 Disengage reinforced guide for sun blind -3-  from guide element -4-  .

   2. 6.2 Unclip guide element -4-  (-arrow-  ).

   3. 6.3 Push guide element -4-  to the rear and remove it.

7. Disengage reinforced guide for sun blind -3-  from guide rail -5-  (-arrow-  ).

8. Unscrew and remove screw -6-  .

9. Lift front roof sun blind at the right out of the housing -arrow-  and remove it from the frame.
