Installing Powered Sunroof Mechanism

Guide drive cables for (front) sun blind and glass sliding roof into the guides.
Also check that the guide pieces -4- are fitted correctly.

Inserting drive cables into guides

Information

There must be no play between the powered sunroof mechanism and cable guide holder.
Push powered sunroof mechanism -3- into the roof assembly as far as the cable guide holder.

Pushing powered sunroof mechanism into cable guide holder
Screw in and tighten screws > Tightening torque 2.5 Nm (1.8 ftlb.) +/- 0.3 Nm (0.2 ftlb.)
Screw in and tighten nuts > Tightening torque 2.4 Nm (1.8 ftlb.) +/- 0.1 Nm (0.07 ftlb.)
