Installing Floorpan

Information 

• Before final assembly, make sure you fully understand all the work steps involved and carry out a trial assembly without applying adhesive. 
• The bonding process can only be carried out reliably when a smooth and swift sequence of operations is guaranteed. 
• Do not begin bonding work until all materials and tools necessary for later repair work are available. 

1. Install floorpan and check that it fits perfectly.
2. Remove floorpan.
3. Apply adhesive on the joint area of the body.

   Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface. > Application depth 0.5 mm

4. Apply adhesive to the floorpan

   Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface. > Application depth 0.5 mm

   1. 4.1 Also apply an adhesive bead of sealant all around the bonding surface. > Application depth 3 mm 
5. Rivet in floorpan. > BLIND RIVETS 999.190.229.01

6. Set connecting elements.

   2. 6.2 Set blind rivets > BLIND RIVETS 999.190.229.01  in the overlap area -A-  .
   3. 6.3 Screw in self-tapping screw -1-  .
