Installation position of spring strut mount

1. Disconnect connection points.

   Disconnecting connection points

   1. 1.1 Remove punch rivets -A-  using > VAS 852 001 - Body Dent Removal System, Aluminium  and > VAS 6790 - Compact Booster  .

      > 5X00IN REPLACING PUNCH RIVETS AND PENETRATED JOINTS

   2. 1.2 Drill through clinch points -B-  using a > Diameter 6.6 mm  carefully.

   1. 2.1 Unscrew self-tapping screws -1-  .
   2. 2.2 Remove punch rivets -A-  using > VAS 852 001 - Body Dent Removal System, Aluminium  and > VAS 6790 - Compact Booster  .

      > 5X00IN REPLACING PUNCH RIVETS AND PENETRATED JOINTS

   3. 2.3 Drill out spotwelds -B-  .

4. Remove closing element for longitudinal member.
5. Unscrew self-tapping screws -1-  .

6. Remove punch rivets using > VAS 852 001 - Body Dent Removal System, Aluminium  and > VAS 6790 - Compact Booster  .

   Information 

   Loosen connection points on one side only. Do not damage the sheet-metal panel underneath.

7. Drill through clinch points using a > Diameter 6.6 mm  .

8. Separate ground connection from longitudinal member to spring strut mount.
