Removing Lock Carrier

Information 

• Some repairs are shown only on one side of the vehicle. 
• The steps are identical for the opposite side of the vehicle. 

1. Unscrew screws -1-  and remove reinforcement.

2. Loosen clamps -1-  and pull air ducts -2-  off the air cleaner housing.

3. Disconnect electric plug connection at microswitch for lid lock.
4. Release and disconnect electric plug connections -1 and 2-  on the charge-air coolers at the left and right.

5. Unclip line bracket -1-  at the left and right and move electric wire harness -2-  towards the centre of the vehicle.

6. Unscrew screws -2-  and remove headlight mounting -3-  at the left and right.

7. Secure radiator assembly on the vehicle to prevent it from falling down.
8. Unscrew screws -1-  at the left and right on the radiator assembly -2-  .

9. Unclip lock -1-  on radiator assembly at the left and right.

10. Unscrew screws -1-  on the lock carrier at the left and right.

11. Unscrew screws -1-  on the front bumper at the left and right and remove lock carrier.
