Removing Tank Vent

  1. Open heat protection -1-  .

  2. Loosen tank vent valve -1-  .

    Tank vent valve

    1. 2.1  Loosen spring band clamp -2-  using > VAS 6890 - spring band clamp pliers  and pull hose off the tank vent valve
    2. 2.2  Release and disconnect electric plug connection -3-  .
    3. 2.3  Unclip tank vent valve -1-  fro m holders -4-  .
  3. Unscrew screw -1-  and disconnect line -2-  from turbocharger.

  4. Remove tank vent valve line -1-  .

    1. 4.1  Release and disconnect quick connector securing tank vent valve line -2-  to centre intake-air distributor.
    2. 4.2  Remove tank vent valve line -1-  together with tank vent valve.
