Removing Camshaft Controller Actuator (V6 Turbo)

Information
The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example. The procedure for the other side is almost identical.
- For engine with particle filter:
Remove differential pressure sensor lines -1- with differential pressure sensor -2- .
- 1.1 Unscrew union nuts from differential pressure sensor lines -3- .
- 1.2 Disconnect differential pressure sensor lines -1- .
- 1.3 Release and disconnect cable plug -4- .
- 1.4 Unscrew screws for differential pressure sensor holder -5- .
- 1.5 Remove differential pressure sensor lines -1- with differential pressure sensor -2- .

- Only for removing camshaft controller actuator on intake side of cylinder bank 1:
Disconnect coolant hose -1- .
- 2.1 Release and pull off quick-connecting lock -2- .
- 2.2 Set coolant hose -1- aside.
- 2.3 Collect emerging coolant using suitable aids and close off line connections using suitable stoppers.

- Remove camshaft controller actuator -1-

- 3.1 Release and disconnect cable plug -2- .
- 3.2
Only for camshaft controller actuator on outlet side.
- 3.2.1 Unscrew nuts on heat shield for camshaft controller actuator.
- 3.2.2 Remove heat shield on camshaft controller actuator on outlet side.
- 3.3 Unscrew and remove screws -3- .
- 3.4 Remove camshaft controller actuator -1- .
