Removing Front-Axle Support

Information
Risk of damage to chassis components
- If the front-axle carrier, steering gear or front-axle support is not fitted correctly, never lower the vehicle onto its wheels!
- Supporting the vehicle on the front-axle carrier or on the front-axle support (e.g. using a jack) is not permitted!
- If the vehicle needs to be moved, the front-axle support must be installed beforehand using the old bolts and square nuts and must then be tightened to the specified torque without additional torque angle.
- Remove heat insulation -1-

Heat insulation
- 1.1 Unclip clips -2- .
- 1.2 Unscrew screws on heat insulation -3- .
- 1.3 Guide out and remove heat insulation -1- .
- Remove front-axle support -1-

Front-axle support
- 2.1 Disconnect electric line -2- at the positions -3- from front-axle carrier -1- .
- 2.2 Unscrew screws -4 and 5- and remove front-axle support -1- .
