Removing Tank Vent

  1. Open heat protection -1-  .

  2. Loosen tank vent valve -1-  .

    Tank vent valve

    1. 2.1  Loosen spring band clamp -2-  using > VAS 6890 - spring band clamp pliers  and pull hose off the tank vent valve -1-  .
    2. 2.2  Release and disconnect electric plug connection on tank vent valve -3-  .
    3. 2.3  Pull tank vent valve -1-  off holders -4-  .
    4. 2.4  Close off line connections using suitable stoppers.
  3. Disconnect tank vent valve line -1-  from pressure pipe.

    1. 3.1  Release and disconnect quick connector on tank vent valve line -2-  .
    2. 3.2  Disconnect tank vent valve line -1-  from the pressure pipe.
    3. 3.3  Close off line connections using suitable stoppers.
  4. Disconnect tank vent valve line -1-  from turbocharger.

    1. 4.1  Unscrew screw for tank vent valve line -2-  .
    2. 4.2  Disconnect tank vent valve line -1-  from the turbocharger -Arrow-  .
    3. 4.3  Close off line connections using suitable stoppers.
  5. Remove tank vent valve together with lines.
