Preliminary Work

Remove upper chain housing cover.
> 153319 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING UPPER CHAIN HOUSING COVER (V6 TURBO)
Remove pulse sender.
> 287319 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING PULSE SENDER (V6 TURBO)
Remove drive plate.
> 136319 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING DRIVE PLATE

Remove the engine.
> 100119 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE
For engine with particle filter
Remove particle filter.

> 267419 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING PARTICLE FILTER
For engine without particle filter
Remove catalytic converter.

> 267319 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING CATALYTIC CONVERTER
Only for removing upper chain housing cover on right cylinder bank:
Remove additional coolant pump holder -1- .
1. 4.1 Unscrew screws for additional coolant pump -2- at the holder -1- .
2. 4.2 Unscrew double screw for additional coolant pump holder -3- .
3. 4.3 Remove additional coolant pump holder -1- .
