Preliminary Work

  1. Remove upper chain housing cover.

    Removing and installing upper chain housing cover (V6 Turbo) 

  2. Remove centre intake-air distributor.

    > 244619 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING CENTRE INTAKE-AIR DISTRIBUTOR

  3. Remove brake booster vacuum pump.

    > 477619 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING BRAKE BOOSTER VACUUM PUMP

  4. Remove engine.

    > 100127 - REMOVING AND MOUNTING ENGINE

  5. Remove left engine carrier
    1. 5.1  Unscrew and remove screws -2-  .
    2. 5.2  Remove left engine carrier -1-  .

  6. Remove vacuum reservoir -1-  .
    1. 6.1  Unscrew and remove screws -2-  .
    2. 6.2  Unscrew nuts -3-  .
    3. 6.3  Remove vacuum reservoir -1-  and set it aside.

  7. Secure engine to assembly support.

    > 100113 - SECURING ENGINE ON ASSEMBLY SUPPORT (V6 TURBO)
