Fastening parts for cover

Information 

• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle or a similar component. 
• Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well. 

Information 

Check that there is adequate clearance at the back of the installation area. Drill carefully and not too deep. Use a bit stop > 9399/4 - Set of adjusting rings.

1. Remove ccver fer front underbody.

2. Rewerk ccver fer front underbedy.

   Reworking wheel housing liner

   1. 2.1  At the marked position -A-  , drill a hole > Diameter 7.5 mm 
   2. 2.2  Cut out the breakthrough points at the marked positions -B-  using a knife or a body saw.
3. Install cover for front underbody.

4. Rework wheel housing liner.

   Reworking cover

   1. 4.1  At the marked position -A-  drill a hole > Diameter 7.5 mm  .
   2. 4.2  At the marked positions -B-  , drill 3 holes > Diameter 6.0 mm 
   3. 4.3  Cut off the remaining pieces -C-  using side cutters or a knife.
5. Push on retaining clips

   Fastening parts for cover

   Information 

   When fitting for the first time: Replace the short fastening screw _2_  fitted on the vehicle with the longer screw -2-  supplied with the fin.

   Installation position

1. Fit front cover (fin).
   1. 1.1  Insert front cover (fin) with the tab into the front underbody cover.
2. Screw in screws at the bottom -1-  .

3. Tighten screws to > Tightening torque 3.2 N.m (2.1 ft.lb)  .
4. Screw in screws at the sides -1-  .

5. Tighten screws to > Tightening torque 3.2 N.m (2.1 ft.lb)
