Removing B-Pillar Reinforcement

Loosen connection points on one side only. Do not damage the sheet-metal panel underneath.

Installation position of B-pillar reinforcement

Remove connecting piece of side member.

1.1 Drill out spotwelds. > Nr.129-Spotweld drill bit > VAS 882 001 - Spot-weld remover

Heat bonding areas marked in yellow. > V.A.G 1416 - Hot-Air Blower

2.1 Remove connecting piece.

Remove supporting plate for B-pillar reinforcement.

3.1 Drill out spotwelds. > Nr.129 - Spotweld drill bit > VAS 882 001 - Spot-weld remover

4.2 Remove welded seams in area -A- .
