Removing Roof

Installation position of roof

Information

Only make cuts in the top plate. Make sure not to damage the plate underneath when doing this.

Information

During separation make sure that the components beneath are not damaged.

Remove spotwelds.

1. 1.1 Drill out spotwelds using > Nr.129 - spotweld drill; see Gr. 2.4; Workshop Equipment Service Information.
2. 1.2 Grind down spotwelds in area -A- using a spherical cutter.
Affix adhesive tape -1- along the edge of the roof on both sides at dimension -X- . > Distance 2 mm + 2 mm Adhesive tape serves as cut line.

Make cut on both sides.
Heat connection areas using the hot-air gun.
