Installing Rear Lid Seal

Information

Check the removed seal for damage before refitting it. If there are signs of damage, replace the seal.
Press the seal onto the flange without any additional sealant.

Information

Make sure the seal is fitted correctly particularly in the tight rounded areas. The seal must not be buckled or stretched.

Position the seal -1- all around the flange.

Installing rear lid seal
Fit the seal -1- onto the flange at the corners -arrows A- .
Fit the seal -1- without tension all the way around the flange and press it on -arrows B- .
Check that the seal is fitted correctly.
