Checking Front Emergency Release

WARNING: Luggage compartment lid opens while the vehicle is moving
  • Luggage compartment lid breaks off and hits the windscreen

    Stop the vehicle immediately when the warning lights come on. The luggage compartment lid opens fully 30 seconds after being released.

  1. Insert a suitable tool into lower part of lock -direction of arrow-  .

    Checking release

  2. Actuate release handle in the luggage compartment
  3. Check that the lower part of the lock releases automatically.
