Installing Lower Part Of Front Lid Lock

Install lower part of front lid lock

Engaging bowden cable
1. 1.1 Clip in the driver -arrow "A"- .
2. 1.2 Fit bowden cable -4- on front lock lower part -arrow "B"- and clip it in -arrow "C"-.
3. 1.3 Perform further installation in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
  Tightening torque for screws for front lock lower part: > Tightening torque 10 N.m (7.5 ft.lb)

  Function test on front lock lower part:
  
  Check that the bowden cable is clipped fully into the brackets provided.
  
  Check that the electric plug connection is connected.
  
  Check that front lock lower part disengages correctly.
4. 1.4 Carry out a function test.
