Removing Longitudinal Member For Wheel Housing Upper Section

Installation position of longitudinal member for wheel housing upper section

Remove bracket for longitudinal member for wheel housing.

IMPORTANT: Loosen connection points on one side only. Do not damage the sheet-metal panel underneath.

1.1 Drill out spotwelds. > Nr.129 - Spotweld drill bit > VAS 882 001 - Spot-weld remover

2.1 Remove bracket for longitudinal member for wheel housing.

Drill through punch rivets on upper longitudinal member plate -1- using a > Nr.201 - twist drill .
