Information
The exact position of the front camera with respect to the vehicle coordinate system is determined by calibrating the front camera.
- The setting device > VAS 6430/1A - Setting Device with Reflector, the calibration board > VAS 6430/4 - Lane Departure Warning Calibration Plate and a wheel alignment computer are required for the calibration process.

Calibration must only be performed on a levelled wheel alignment platform or on level ground.

The vehicle must be empty and all doors must be closed.
- Before calibrating the front camera, a basic initial measurement must be performed.

Adjust the chassis if necessary
Park the vehicle on a levelled wheel alignment platform or on a level surface and set up the calibration unit > VAS 6430/1A - Setting Device with Reflector in front of the vehicle in accordance with the instructions on the wheel alignment computer and PIWIS Tester.
