Preliminary Work

  1. Remove centre console cover.

    > 681919 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CENTRE CONSOLE COVER

  2. Only for vehicles with PDK:  Remove selector lever knob.

    > 370419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING SELECTOR KNOB - portion on "Removing"

  3. Only for vehicles without PDK:  Remove keypad.
    1. 3.1 Unclip keypad on both sides using a suitable tool -arrows-  and lift it up until the electric plug connection is accessible.
    2. 3.2 Release and disconnect electric plug connection and remove keypad.
