Information On Wheel Bolts

• Use a suitable commercially available tool. Never use an impact bolter to loosen and tighten the wheel bolts.
• Only use original wheel bolts.
• Wheel bolts must never be reworked.
• Replace damaged wheel bolts. This damage includes mechanical damage to the thread -4-  , the spherical cap bearing surface -3-  and damage to the bolt head -1-  and spherical cap ring -2-  if the contact surface is seized! It must be possible to turn the spherical cap ring -2-  on the bolt shank and move it in axial direction.
• Never grease the wheel bolts and security wheel bolts.
