Disassembling Steering Wheel

Information 

The number of electric plug connections will vary depending on equipment.

1. Unscrew screws -1-  , unclip rear steering wheel cover -2-  and carefully remove it.

2. Remove heated steering wheel switch -1-  .
   1. 2.1  Release and disconnect electric plug connection -2-  .
   2. 2.2  Unclip electric line -3-  .
   3. 2.3  Remove heated steering wheel switch -1-  in direction of arrow.

3. Remove control unit -1-  .
   1. 3.1  Release and disconnect electric plug connection -2-  .
   2. 3.2  Unclip control unit -1-  from rear steering wheel cover -3-  and remove it.

4. Remove front steering wheel cover -1-  .
   1. 4.1  Release and disconnect electric plug connection -2-  .
   2. 4.2  Unscrew and remove screws -3-  .
   3. 4.3  Unclip front steering wheel cover -1-  and remove it together with switch for driving mode -4-  .

5. Remove multi-functional switch -1-  .
   1. 5.1  Release and disconnect electric plug connections -2-  .
   2. 5.2  Unscrew screws -3-  and remove multi-functional switch -1-  .

6. Remove bracket for multi-functional switch -1-  .
   1. 6.1  Unscrew and remove screws -2-  .
   2. 6.2  Remove bracket for multi-functional switch -1-  .

7. Remove contact bridge -1-  .
   1. 7.1  Release and disconnect electric plug connection -2-  .
   2. 7.2  Unscrew screws -3-  and remove contact bridge -1-  .
   3. 7.3  Remove electric wiring harness -4-  .
