Lifting The Vehicle
CAUTION:
Vehicle can fall down
- Risk of squashing or crushing
- Risk of damage to the vehicle
→ Do not place any solid objects under the raised vehicle.
→ Ensure that the lifting platform is prevented from lowering.
→ Remove solid objects before lowering the vehicle.
→ Raise the vehicle only at the take-up points provided.
CAUTION:
Driving off while the vehicle is on the lifting platform
- Risk of squashing
- Risk of damage to components
→ Raise the vehicle until the wheels cannot touch the ground.
Information
When driving onto the lifting platform, pay particular attention to the following:
- Sufficient distance between the lifting platform and vehicle .
- For work in the front footwell, raise the vehicle in such a way that the doors can be opened wide enough .
- Position the vehicle on the lifting platform.
- Only for vehicles with air suspension:
Switch to Normal Level and deactivate the levelling system.

Move chassis to normal level:
Select Vehicle symbol → Chassis → Normal in the central display.

Adjust chassis level:
Select Chassis level → Medium in the central display.

In the central display, select Menu → Vehicle settings → Additional chassis
settings and confirm Activate jack mode.
Information
Align support plates of the lifting platform so that they are centred and at the same height under the specified jacking points on the vehicle.
- Make sure that the respective underbody covers can be removed and installed .
- Raise the vehicle at the prescribed jacking points -1- .
