Removing Glove Compartment Lock

NOTE: Lock cylinder removed and installed incorrectly

Loss of small parts
Risk of damage to lock cylinder
→ Remove and install lock cylinder only with the key inserted.

Information

The rubber stop on the handle can loosen or fall out when removing the safety clip.

Fit rubber stop again correctly.

Remove safety clip -1- for glove compartment lock -2- .
1. 1.1 Open handle -3- and keep it open.
2. 1.2 Pull out safety clip -1- using > 3438 - hook and remove it from the handle -3- .

Remove glove compartment lock -1- .
1. 2.1 Remove emergency key -2- from the driver's key.
2. 2.2 Insert emergency key -2- into the glove compartment lock -1- .
3. 2.3 Pull glove compartment lock -1- with emergency key -2- out of the handle.
