Installing Desiccator

1. Push desiccator -1-  from above -arrow A-  into the holder -2-  and tilt it in direction of -arrow B-  .

2. Insert the stop of the holder -2-  into the groove on the desiccator -1-  and fit the lower screw-type clamp.

3. Install upper screw-type clamp and tighten both screw-type clamps -2-  to the prescribed tightening torque. > Tightening torque 6 Nm (4.5 ftlb.)

   Information 

   Before re-installing the component, check the sealing rings on the refrigerant lines for damage and replace them if necessary.

   Coat sealing rings for refrigerant lines with the relevant refrigerant oil.

   Do not open the stoppers for the refrigerant lines and connections until shortly before installation.

4. Fit refrigerant lines -2-  on desiccator -1-  and tighten screws -3-  to the prescribed tightening torque. > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)
