Removing Condenser Fan

1. Disconnect wire harness.

   Wire harness on condenser fan

   1. 1.1 Loosen clips -2-  .
   2. 1.2 Release and disconnect cable plug -3-  .
   3. 1.3 Set wire harness aside.
2. Loosen condenser from fan housing.

   Information 

   • Refrigerant lines remain connected to the condenser and the refrigerant circuit must not be opened. 
   1. 2.1 Remove screw -1-  using > VAS 6959 - Torx bit T30  through the opening -3-  and pull the condenser -2-  off the cooling fan housing guides.

      Mounting for condenser

      Information 

      • Refrigerant lines remain connected to the condenser and the refrigerant circuit must not be opened. 
   2. 2.2 Set the condenser -1-  down on > VAS 6931 - engine and gearbox jack-2-  and secure it to the body using a tie-wrap -3-  .

3. Remove condenser fan.
   1. 3.1 Unscrew screws -1-  .

   2. 3.2 Guide out condenser fan -1-  between the condenser and fan housing.
