Installing Condenser Fan

Information 

• New fan has prefabricated holes without thread. 
• Before a new fan is installed, threads must be cut in the prefabricated holes. 
• Self-tapping screws cut their own thread during installation. 
• Always use new bolts. 
• The use of thread cutters is not permitted. 

1. Fit new screws -1-  and carefully screw them in and out again.

2. Install condenser fan -1-  .
   1. 2.1 Move condenser fan -1-  into installation position.

   2. 2.2 Fit screws -1-  and tighten to the prescribed tightening torque. > Tightening torque 5 Nm (3.5 ftlb.)

3. Secure the condenser -2-  to the fan housing.
   1. 3.1 Remove tie-wrap.
   2. 3.2 Insert condenser -2-  into the cooling fan housing guides. Fit screw -1-  using > VAS 6959 - Torx bit T30  through the opening -3-  and tighten to the prescribed tightening torque. > Tightening torque 4.5 Nm (3.3 ftlb.)

4. Secure wire harness.

   1. 4.1 Plug in and lock cable plug -3-  .
   2. 4.2 Fasten clips -2-  .
