Removing Valve (EAV 5)

NOTE: Opened refrigerant system for repairs.

Risk of moisture getting into the refrigerant system.
Risk of contaminating the refrigerant circuit.
Risk of saturation and irreparable damage to desiccator.
Irreparable damage to the desiccator can damage the compressor and evaporator.
→ After opening the refrigerant circuit, close off the refrigerant lines/connections immediately using the relevant stoppers. To avoid contaminating the refrigerant circuit, the stoppers for the different refrigerants must be stored and used separately.

→ The desiccator must be replaced if the air humidity is high and if the refrigerant circuit is left open for a long time.

Disconnect refrigerant line -1- .
1. 1.1 Unclip clip -3- .
2. 1.2 Unscrew screw -4- .
3. 1.3 Disconnect refrigerant line -1- from valve (EAV 3) -2- .
4. 1.4 Close off line connections using suitable stoppers.

Disconnect refrigerant line -1- .
1. 2.1 Unclip clip -3- .
2. 2.2 Unscrew screw -4- .
3. 2.3 Disconnect refrigerant line -1- from valve (EAV 5) -2- .
4. 2.4 Close off line connections using suitable stoppers.

Remove holder -1- with valves -2 and 3- .
1. 3.1 Release and disconnect electric plug connections -4 and 5- .
2. 3.2 Unclip clip -6- .
3. 3.3 Unscrew and remove screws -7- .
4. 3.4 Remove holder -1- .

Remove refrigerant line -1- .
1. 4.1 Unscrew screw -4- .
2. 4.2 Disconnect refrigerant line -1- from valves -2 and 3- .

Remove valve (EAV 5) -1- from holder -2- .
1. 5.1 Unscrew screws -3- and remove valve (EAV 5) -1- .
