Installing Valve (EAV 2)
NOTE:
Opened refrigerant system for repairs.
- Risk of moisture getting into the refrigerant system.
- Risk of contaminating the refrigerant circuit.
- Risk of saturation and irreparable damage to desiccator.
- Irreparable damage to the desiccator can damage the compressor and evaporator.
→ After opening the refrigerant circuit, close off the refrigerant lines/connections immediately using the relevant stoppers. To avoid contaminating the refrigerant circuit, the stoppers for the different refrigerants must be stored and used separately.
→ The desiccator must be replaced if the air humidity is high and if the refrigerant circuit is left open for a long time.
- Install valve (EAV 2) -1-
.
- 1.1 Position valve (EAV 2) -1- on holder -2- .
- 1.2 Fit screws -4- , but do not tighten yet.
- 1.3 Connect and lock electric plug connection -3- .
Valve (EAV 2)
- Secure refrigerant line -1-
.
- 2.1 Replace O-rings on refrigerant line -1- .
- 2.2 Position refrigerant line -1- .
- 2.3 Push refrigerant line -1- onto valve (EAV 2) -4- and valve (EAV 3) -5- at the same time.
- 2.4 Fit and tighten screw -2 and 3-
.
> Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)
Refrigerant line section from heat exchanger (ICond) to shut-off valve
- Tighten screws -4-
.
> Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)
Valve (EAV 2)
- Secure refrigerant line -1-
on valve (EAV 2) -2-
.
- 4.1 Replace O-ring on refrigerant line -1- .
- 4.2 Position refrigerant line -1- and push onto valve (EAV 2) -2- .
- 4.3 Fit and tighten screw -3-
.
> Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)
